Providing you with a safe space to heal

I believe that our experiences shape who we are, causing negative and positive views of ourselves and of life. If you are open to change and willing to do the work, you will open up new worlds of healing and possibilities for an even greater life!

All of your appointments take place in a soothing office environment with fully private rooms, complimentary tea and water, and individualized care.

My approach

I have a very empathetic, client-centered and authentic approach that teaches you how to have self-compassion and understanding in a safe, judgment-free environment. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the key to healing and recovery.

My work gets to the root cause. I see anxiety and depression as key indicators of something deeper happening internally. My therapeutic approach will help you discover who you are by processing traumatic events to switch your perspective to a positive understanding of the event.

It is my passion to help others discover their true, authentic selves.

“Elysia’s support had a profound impact on my outlook on life after experiencing trauma. Through her compassionate approach and expertise in EMDR, she helped me confront and process my grief and pain in a safe environment. This journey allowed me to release the heavy emotional burdens I had been carrying and gain insights into my feelings. As we worked through my trauma together, I began to see the possibility of healing and moving forward. Elysia encouraged me to focus on the positive aspects of my life and set new goals for the future. Her guidance has transformed my perspective, allowing me to embrace life with renewed hope and optimism. I now feel equipped to face challenges and cherish the moments of joy that come my way.”

— Leslie H.

“When I first started seeing Elysia, I was extremely timid, had no self-esteem, and didn’t even realize I was being emotionally abused by my partner of 16 years. In our very first session, I told her, ‘There’s something wrong with me because my boyfriend doesn’t want to marry me.’ At the time, I truly believed I was emotionally weak and crazy — that if I could just be less sensitive or work harder, he would finally commit to me.

We had a daughter after 13 years together, and I clung to the hope that things would change. As our daughter got older, I started to become embarrassed by the way my ex spoke to me in front of her. Whenever I tried to bring it up, I would be convinced that I was being too sensitive and couldn’t take a joke.

Elysia helped me see the truth. She gently guided me to recognize that I deserved kindness and respect, too. Not guilt trips, manipulation and control. She supported me through the painful process of breaking free, navigating the custody order, and continues to help me strengthen my boundaries to this day. She helped me see that leaving wasn’t just an option — it was the best choice I could have made for my daughter and me.

One of the most powerful tools she introduced me to was EMDR. Elysia is a master of this therapy, and though I was hesitant at first, I chose to trust her process — and I am so glad I did! For years, I carried an inappropriate sense of guilt and responsibility fo ray ex, as if his well-being was my burden to bear. Through EMDR, she helped re-wire my thinking, and that crushing weight of guilt and responsibility was gone after just a few sessions. It was life-changing. EMDR has also helped me tremendously with confronting all the feelings that I’v tried to suppress about my sexual assault that happened as a teenager.

What makes Elysia truly remarkable is not just her expertise, but her genuine care. You can see it in her eyes as she listens to you — she challenges your thinking in ways that make you grow, calls you out when you’re being too hard on yourself, and provides thoughtful guidance that actually makes a difference.

I know without a doubt that I would still be trapped in that toxic relationship if it weren’t for her. Elysia completely changed the trajectory of my life — for the better, and did it all in less than half a year. Because of her, I feel stronger and more capable than ever. I know I can be the best version of myself now that I am free from a narcissist constantly putting me down and draining me of my light.

If you can relate to my story and don’t know where to turn, Elysia is the person you need in your corner. She is not only an incredible therapist but an unwavering advocate for those who are ready to break free — and for those like me, who need just a little extra support to even see what’s happening, and that the way they’re being treated isn’t healthy. You don’t have toe be stuck around people that make you feel awful, and Elysia can give you the tools you need to stand up for yourself.”
